Nova (nova-nurse.com) is an early-access (“beta”) tool that helps nurses track licenses, certifications, and renewal deadlines, and answers questions about licensure logistics. It is under active development. Things will occasionally look unfinished, change without notice, or break.
Nova is not legal advice, medical advice, or an official source of licensing requirements. Your State Board of Nursing is the only authority on your license. Nova will tell you when it cannot verify something — when it does, believe it, and check with your board.
Nova uses artificial intelligence. It is designed to only state regulatory facts (fees, deadlines, renewal rules, compact status) that come from verified data, and to say “I can't confirm that” otherwise — but no AI system is perfect. Never make a career, licensing, or financial decision based solely on what Nova says. Verify anything important with your board before acting on it.
Access is free during the beta and provided as-is, with no guarantees of availability or data preservation. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may end the beta or your access at any time; you can stop using Nova at any time and ask for your data to be deleted.
Anything you report — bugs, confusion, ideas — may be used to improve Nova, with no obligation or compensation.
To the extent the law allows, Nova and its developer are not liable for losses arising from your use of the beta, including missed renewal deadlines. Nova is a reminder tool, not a guarantee — the deadline is always yours.
